The controls and protections that were in place like capcha are getting easier to bypass as artificial bot networks mimic human behavior and login online to purchase discounted deals at a ratio of 20 bots per one human. They can mimic human behavior fill out forms faster and also steal your logins, rewards and credits from your account.

But what they typically do is buy the inventory of discounted goods on Cyber Monday and then resell those items on their own website. Only deal with reputable sites that use https (the 's' means its secure) vs http sites
Use an escrow service like PayPal
